Signs

Symbols have meaning.  They convey meaning to those who recognize them.  They speak different things to different people – but this one is just plain silly.

Think about this symbol for a moment.  I took this picture at a Safeway in my area because I just found it hard to imagine.  For many, the symbol conveys a meaning that says “if you are blind, this checkout register can assist you.”  Right?  That makes sense.  In their desire to help those with different abilities they created the sign to help – but help who?  Think about this, if you are blind you cannot see the sign – it holds no meaning to you.   It only holds meaning to those who can see it and connect it with an impression.

Could it be that the sign is there for those with sight to see it and think “Oh wow, they care?”  But does it convey such a reality?  To me it shows how little they know about those with different abilities.

What do you think?

LOL – it could mean that – it’s all in the eye of the one who sees it 🙂

This is their way saying to all, they care for no-one. it is a way of saying how “great i’m” (the owner of safeway/ vons). on the last strike they said (concerning the workers), “i dont care if they lose all they have i won’t sign the contract” letting some 20,000 people loss their homes, cars and more. they still have made there losses. what a store!!!!!!!!
